March 19-21, 2010:
Seven BNSO
apprentices will be travelling to Florida to participate in the
Suzuki Workshop.
9-10 January 2010:
Mr. Martin
Goldman, president of the SUZUKI violin association of South Florida
will be visiting Nassau. We will be having discussions on future
training for our young violinists. He will also be giving individual
lessons and group lessons on Saturday and Sunday.

BNSO
has been chosen to perform at the British Colonial Hilton
spectacular event to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The orchestra
will start playing at 6:30pm.
28-29 November 2008:
Christmastide 2009 at St. Andrew’s (The Kirk) from
8:15 pm under the patronage of the Governor General, the Honorable
Arthur D. Hanna.
7-8 November 2009:
Five BNSO
apprentices will be travelling to Florida to participate in the

17 October 2009:
The
coveted Griffon d'Or was awarded to JDV and BNSO! At the 14th
Annual Gala of the Griffon d'Or, they were nominated as a finalist
for the Cultural Event of the Year, along with the MSO (Montreal
Symphony Orchestra). Their Concert was held last June as part of the
Canada-Bahamas exchange where 14 Bahamians, members of the Bahamas
National Symphony orchestra joined the Jardin des Violons to perform
at the concert and spend a week with Canadian families. In addition,
The group was also called to play for the opening of the ceremonies.
